Bosnian operator BH Telecom has extended its relationship
with Verimatrix, by adding the Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for
Internet TV to ensure the revenue security of its Moja TV service. VCAS
for Internet TV is integrated with the Beenius Interactive TV platform
to promote the seamless and secure delivery of the service to a wide
range of devices, including set top boxes as well as PCs, Macs, iOS and
Android devices.
Moja TV offers subscribers access to more
than 130 channels, including HD and timeshift channels, as well as VoD
and video recording capabilities. Beenius is the systems integrator for
the project, deploying the Beenius Interactive TV platform and VCAS for
Broadcast-Hybrid.
The supporting to Verimatrix and Beenius
is one of the major features of SDMC DVB-T2 set top boxes. With the
increases of the global awareness in copyright protection, SDMC upgraded
most its set top boxes to make them support Verimatrix and Beenius.
Verimatrix technology is applied for ensuring that only legitimate users
can receive and play these programs. And Beenius is applied for
ensuring the safety transmitting of the content.
