SDMC CEO Joined MVNOs Panel Discussion on How to Make Use of Own Industry Resources to Do the Business

On July 9th to July 10th 2015, the“2015 International Virtual Operator Summit”was hold in Beijing by DVBCN, AsiaOTT, GWC and Telecoms & Media. David Lee, CEO of SDMC, joined the MVNOs Panel Discussion on How to Make Use of Own Industry Resources to Do the Business.



For why to attend the summit of the MVNO 2015 virtual operators summit, SDMC CEO David Lee explained: we are here to learn. Virtual Operator Industry is a not fully developed industry, though the general direction and policy are not yet clear, many enterprises entered. It means that everyone holds a positive attitude to Virtual Operator Industry".


SDMC CEO David Lee expressed his options for virtual operators in OTT field at the How to Make Use of Own Industry Resources to Do the Business MVNO panel. “we, SDMC, started overseas OTT services ABOUT three to four years ago , our portfolio including smart set-top boxes and the back-office management system. We sorted out the OTT basic framework recently, and the basic infrastructure is our OTT TV box, and on the basis of it, we refine the back-office management system".

 "Our understanding is on top of the virtual operators, there are some video operators, some cloud gaming operators, and the precise advertising operators, and there are other services like music and so on . Therefore, from the point of view of OTT, we should say virtual operators is very promising, of course, there are benefits of virtual operators issues to be settled.

From the OTT perspective, the entire virtual operators can expand the business. Content services vendors can work with some virtual OTT operators because OTT virtual operators, sold it’s services to dozens of different countries and China must be on of them.”

"Our back-office management system, in fact, is to manage and control the entire OTT TV box , as well as data collection, analysis, etc., It can let the operator to understand the status of the OTT TV box."
