IBC 2015: SDMC to Showcase Amlogic S805 Quad Core Android DVB-T2 TV Box

In 2015, IBC exhibition will be hold from 11th to 14th. During IBC 2015, SDMC, a China leading smart TV box company, will showcase its latest Amlogic S805 quad core Android DVB-T2 TV box ( Model No. DV7904-T2).

The DV7904-T2 has an Amlogic S805 quad-core central processor and quad core graphic processor. The new quad core Android DVB-T2 TV box runs Google Android 4.4 KitKat with custom, TV-friendly app launchers. It was said that Android 5.0 or 5.1 will be available soon.

The default DDR3 is 1GB and default flash is 4GB. But according to SDMC technical guys, DDR3 can be extended to 4GB and flash can be extended to 31GB. The Amlogic S805 quad core Android DVB-T2 TV box features DRM, CAS and middleware support. It was said Verimatrix, Conax, PlayReady, Novel-Super TV, Widewine and Beenius are supported.
